    Overview:

    We are a family-owned, fourth-generation company seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Burial Vault Installer & Manufacturer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for both the production and installation of high-quality precast concrete burial vaults, including batching, pouring, finishing, transporting, and setting vaults at cemetery sites, as well as preparing graveside areas for services.

    The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-focused, and takes pride in maintaining a respectful appearance during funerals and interments while ensuring all products meet strict quality standards. This position offers the opportunity to work with heavy equipment while providing a meaningful service that supports families during difficult times.

    *Please note: Saturday work (at 1.5 times hourly rate after 40 hours) is required on a rotation basis

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Transport burial vaults and equipment to cemetery locations using company vehicles.

    • Prepare the graveside area by setting up burial vaults according to safety and manufacturer specifications.

    • Set up tents, chairs, grass, and other ceremonial materials for graveside services.

    • Ensure the site is clean, respectful, and presentable before and after the service.

    • Adhere to all safety protocols, especially when working around open graves.

    • Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and power tools to transport and install burial vault components efficiently and safely.

    • Remain professional, respectful, and discreet during funeral and interment services

    • Set up and prepare forms for concrete burial vaults, including installing reinforcement, applying form oil, and ensuring proper alignment.

    • Pour and finish concrete into molds using hand tools and equipment to ensure a smooth and properly compacted finish.

    • Strip forms once the concrete has cured sufficiently, ensuring product integrity and safety.

    • Ensure product quality complies with company standards and industry regulations.

    • Paint and personalize burial vaults.

    Qualifications:

    • Advanced pay for candidates with previous burial vault experience

    • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and 3 years driving experience.

    • Experience in concrete or precast manufacturing is a plus, but on-the-job training will also be provided.

    • Ability to read and understand mix designs, production instructions, and safety documentation.

    • Familiarity with concrete batching systems, hand tools, forklifts, and overhead cranes is a plus.

    • Physical ability to lift 75+ lbs, stand for long periods, and work in inclement weather.

    • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality and safety.

    • Respectful and professional demeanor appropriate for funeral and cemetery environments.

    • Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
